Fire and Emergency Lighting

Goldshield provides a range of fire detection and emergency lighting systems.

Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting reduces the potential dangers that occur with the loss of mains electricity and the failure of normal lighting – by automatically providing illumination, of a sufficiently high level, to allow safe evacuation of the building.

Goldshield specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of emergency lighting solutions to a wide range of industry and has built up an excellent reputation for its’ consistent delivery of high quality emergency lighting systems.

Goldshield only specifies products which are designed and manufactured to meet the exacting requirements of this industry.

Most emergency lighting schemes fall into one of the following categories:

Maintained - the emergency light units are illuminated at all times, using the same lamps for both normal and emergency operation. This lighting would normally be on a dedicated circuit with a central isolation and test facility.

Non-maintained - the emergency light units only illuminate in the event of a mains failure. This lighting would be from independent lighting circuits with a means of isolation and test points.

Monthly, quarterly and yearly servicing and testing are an essential part of the installed system.  None are more important than the yearly discharge test of the standby battery power. Our engineers will ensure that your system – and your building occupants – are looked after in a safe manner, recording all details on each visit.

Goldshield delivers emergency lighting solutions that best meet your needs and is committed to providing customers with a cost effective, highly efficient system together with first class customer service.
